Imagine killing all your bed bugs in one day! read more here... Your dryer and washer are useful tools in killing bed bugs in fabric, clothing and bedding. You can put dry bedding into a dryer for two full cycles, but washing first will prevent live bugs from accidentally being shaken off and finding their way into the front of the lint trap in your dryer where they can survive and infest bedding and clothes as you remove them from the dryer. Wet clothing and bedding may not get hot enough on the first cycle while drying to kill bugs and eggs remaining on fabric. WARNING DO NOT use your microwave to kill bugs on books, paper, fabric or anything that is flammable or contains glue. Best advice, do not use your microwave or your oven to kill bed bugs.

Wondering if you still have bed bugs? Now you can know with the new monitor From the makers of the PackTite™, Bedbug Beacon™ attracts bed bugs in as little as a few minutes. Unlike dry ice, Bedbug Beacon™ is easy to work with and lasts for at least 5 days at a time with enough supplies for at least two weeks of monitoring. The Bedbug Beacon™ draws bed bugs out of the walls and attracts them to the Beacon. Also great for using after treatment to catch any stubborn bed bugs that have survived or have just hatched. Vapor Steam cleaners can reach temperatures of 240-340 degrees or higher, and can cause dangerous burns, so use caution. IMPORTANT: Do not use steam on areas that have been treated with pesticides as it will vaporize and remove the pesticides, and you risk inhaling the vaporized chemicals. Vapor steamers leave less water behind which can cause dangerous mold. It is strongly suggested you wear a paint and pesticide respirator when using steam cleaners in your home. |
